The truth about Jenny's heart

Jenny made a statement at the Lez Girls wrap up party that she is madly in love with someone and she was refering to Shane. She caught her seducing Nikki then she turned around walking away saying to Shane "You've broken my heart", if Jenny thinks that Shane has broken her heart she is dead wrong because the truth is that Jenny's heart is not meant for Shane and Shane's heart is not meant for Jenny. Long before the Lez Girls wrap up party, Molly was Shane's true and real love interest and what they have in common is they have a genuine fondness and affection for each other. Although the break up between Shane and Molly was caused by the cruel words of Molly's mother, Phyllis Kroll which led Shane to flirt with another woman in front of Molly and even though she was hurt, Molly handled the situation gracefully telling Shane that she deserved compassion. Molly really cares for Shane and her love letter which is for Shane expressing her love for her would fix and repair their broken relationship and Shane would have the chance to reconcile with her, but instead Jenny hid the letter in her attic so she could have Shane and that shows how selfish she is. The conclusion is that Shane's breaking of Jenny's heart is only an illusion because the truth is they never have a genuine fondness and affection for each other and breaking up with Nikki and being madly in love and getting involved with Shane was a huge mistake that Jenny made. Since Jenny's love for Shane is a forbidden love and their relationship and involvement is completely inappropriate and totally unhealthy, there shall be no marriage proposal of Jenny to Shane.

Wow...that was a lot...for me it's simply put...Jenny was a nutcase - and deteriorating daily. Shane loved her pal and seems to be the only one who cared about it. Their relationship wasn't "forbidden" as there are no rules with love. It wasn't "inappropriate" for much the same reason. It was just plain old messed up because Jenny was messed up. AND...I doubt that little Shane would propose to anyone ever again...she had that experience before and realized that it wasn't for her or anyone else she might have affection for. Basically, Shane stayed true to her friend even till the end.

The bottomline is that Shane and Jenny are not meant for each other and they are definitely and absolutely not a perfect match for each other, it was completely wrong for them to become lovers, Jenny's love for Shane is a forbidden love, and their relationship and involvement is completely inappropriate and totally unhealthy. Shane did the right thing to end her relationship with Jenny for sure and for good after a run-in with Molly in a store which leads her to discover the hidden love letter in the attic, since Molly is Shane's true and real love interest and they have a genuine fondness and affection for each other, she must reconcile with her.

We really don't know what happened after Shane found that letter now do we...? One of the great unknowns left to hang at the end of the final season. I say Shane should have ended up with Molly as well...she was the only one who didn't try to fashion The Kid into someone or something she wasn't.. But again, that is another unknown. Viewers can only surmise.

You're really hung up on this "forbidden love" thing...forbidden by whom...? It was a stupid affair and a total humiliation for Shane, but hell, you talk like there's this big ass rule book that someone wrote about personal relationships that said, "Shane & Jenny are prohibited from fucking each other." Um...noooooo, there isn't any such thing. Not in a tv show & not in real life.

The truth about Jenny is that she blocked Shane's opportunity of reconciling with Molly, that's why she hid the letter in her attic so she could have Shane.

Molly stated that her mother Phyllis Kroll was a raging bitch because of the cruel words she said to Shane saying that she's not good enough and not worthy of her which led Shane to flirt with another woman in front of Molly causing their break up. She learned about the cause of their break up and had to deal and confront with her mother saying she won't let her do anything like that to the woman she truly and really loved. Molly really cares for Shane and deserves compassion and her love letter which is for Shane expressing her love for her would fix and repair their broken relationship and Shane would have the chance to reconcile with her.
