Shane's relationship with Jenny is not appropriate and is unhealthy, therefore she should end her relationship with Jenny. In Season 5 Episode 12, it was totaly inappropriate and wrong for Shane to seduce Nikki. If Shane is to end her relationship with Jenny in Season 6 she must reconcile with Carmen, Shane and Carmen are a perfect lesbian couple in Seasons 2 and 3 and should reconcile with each other. Nikki and Jenny are a perfect lesbian chemistry when they first make out with each other in Season 5 Epsisode 5.

Carmen was an abusive monster and Niki was a moron - they didn't deserve to be loved by Shane and Jenny, they didn't even understand them. Shane didn't seduce Niki - Niki was the one who kissed SHANE first, not vice versa. Niki didn't care who she hurt, so long as she got what she wanted. Same thing goes for Carmen. Chemistry is not a suitable replacement for genuine love and affection and respect, like the kind that Shane and Jenny were always shown as having for each other. Niki ditched out on Jenny time and time again when things got rough or weren't 'fun' anymore and all that Carmen cared about was making sure that Shane made her happy - she didn't give a crap about making Shane happy.

Shane's relationship with Jenny was the truest, most beautiful relationship this show ever had. End of story.

The truth about Shane McCutcheon is that her relationship with women is always a disaster. She repeatedly destroys relationships when they are going well. First she cheats on her girlfriend Carmen de la Pica Morales when she becomes involved with Cherie Jaffe, second she sleeps with another woman while house hunting with Paige Sobel, and third she hits on another girl in front of Molly Kroll. In Season 1 Shane was involved with Lacey and cheated on her by sleeping with another woman and later she was involved with Cherie Jaffe but it became disastrous when she became involved with Cherie Jaffe's daughter. In Season 3, Shane and Carmen were engaged to be married but it became a failed marriage when Shane left and abandoned Carmen at the altar. In Season 4, she eventually hooks up with Paige Sobel but in Season 5 they break up when Paige caught her with another woman in the apartment she was planning on renting. In Season 5, Shane has sex with the bride's two sisters and her mother while working as a hairdresser at the wedding of Jenny's boss' daughter and later she became romanticaly involved with Molly Kroll but later they broke up when she hits on another girl in front of her, and Shane not only seduced Nikki she also seduced Dawn Denbo's girlfriend Cindy Tucker. For this reason, Jenny should realize that breaking up with Nikki and being madly in love and getting involved with Shane was a huge mistake. Shane is not the right girl for Jenny and Jenny is not the right girl for Shane, in fact they are not a perfect partner for each other at all.
