I love living in the woods. My landlady has a donkey on the property, Eyore, that wakes me up like no other alarm clock I have ever had! Several times a day. I have lived in big cities but I would not trade my quiet place ever again. I have just started on my second H 4 H, (Habitat for Humanity) in an area that really needs their help. Having done this once, I feel that the experience of on the job training is forever useful not to mention the fun it was working with new people. I love the music of the 70's, but I also have a love of classical music. What I like in a woman? Someone who is ready for impromptu outings, loves nature, is loyal, cares for others and can anticipate at least in listening to my passions. Also, I love a woman who thinks highly of herself and respects others equally. I will not walk behind her or in front of her but besides her. I love that she has a great sense of humor and acts on that at moments least expected. If she makes me laugh everyday, I love her more. When we can be childish at times, it makes me feel more connected to her at that moment. I love sitting in a room with her, doing different things but still know we are there for each other. When I bring myself a cup of coffee, I bring one for her as well. If I am just watching a video, I love it when she gets up and kisses me on the top of my head and strokes my hair as she walks into another room. She knows what I love to eat and will make it on the spur of the moment, unbeknownst to me. I love a glass of water on my side of the bed on the headboard so that I don't have to wake up and get a drink in the middle of the night. Whoever is up first in the morning brings the coffee. I love opening my eyes and watching her sleep. And I love to cuddle during a movie as it rains outside. Finally, I love it that she only eats free range eggs!!! That tells me everything about her loving and respecting animals. I hate doing dishes, dusting, putting things away, vacuuming, cooking, heck I hate chores, but good maids are hard to find. I love my special school, my teacher and the ranch. Don't get me started on politics!! Enter at your own risk. I don't like that the media is owned and doesn't tell the real stories of the day. I like to drive through an eating place and giving a few dolllars for the next driver behind me. Pay it forward as I say.
My dream job(s): I have done it. Help build a House for Habitat for Humanity in Michigan state. What a learning tool for life.
TO-THE-MOMENT ME
I don't have this special woman but I have no doubt I will someday. When that does happen, that little empty hole in my heart will close forever. I'm about to uproot an old rose bush, paint the lattace and plant a new one.
