Counter Point to DA-DT

I am a retired Navy and Vietnam veteran and I do not agree with the DA-DT policy. When I took the oath of allegiance to serve and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, I meant it. The reason I mention this is simple... any person or groups of persons who tread on the rights of others should be considered a domestic enemy because they are in direct violation of our Constitution. Believe me, I truly empathize with "Tasha". The military should have no right to dictate who a service member may or may not have a personal relationship with as long as it does not directly affect the service members performance and duties.

The militarys excuse about homosexual behavior affecting the overall morale and discipline of the troops is an outward lie just like those that were used to discriminate against those of various ethnic groups a few generations ago. The officers and non-commissioned officers who support the DA-DT are the ones that should be dishonorably discharged for inciting hate and discontent amongst the ranks.
