I thought Bette was downright rude to Jodi's friends at the lake. I didn't think that was true to character for Bette at all. Yes, she might be a bit of an art snob but she's never had such a stick up her ass before. Especially if she intends to keep a relationship with Jodi, she's smart enough to know that she needs to at least try to play nice with Jodi's friends. Yes, Bette is self-centered but she's not a total social moron....until last night.
Also, in the first episode, I thought Bette was over-the-top pretentious in the preschool interview, talking about how their house is a revolving art gallery for Angelica, etc. They are making her unlikeable this season and I hate that because I LOVE Bette. |
