How/where they meet: Ivan was part of a local drag king group, the Kings of the Night, and Kit booked the group to perform at The Planet.
About the relationship: After meeting, Ivan courted Kit, and although Kit was smitten, she was also straight -- something Ivan thought he could negotiate. Their friendship continued to grow, but Kit arrives at Ivan's apartment earlier than expected one day and saw Ivan nude -- obviously, with a female body. Ivan was infuriated that his persona was compromised and broke off all contact, often leaving LA to spend time at his cabin in the woods. Kit found out where the cabin was located and asked Ivan to invest $50,000 in The Planet, which he ultimately decides to do, but ONLY as an investor -- not a friend. Later, in Episode 9 of Season 2, Kit feels the need to attend an AA meeting and is greeted there by Ivan. After the meeting, Ivan takes Kit to a campy club where his dancer girlfriend has finished two sets. After being introduced, the three sit down and Kit learns that Ivan has been in a relationship with Iris (the dancer) for five years. Kit has a few harsh words about that, then promptly leaves. In Episode 11 of Season 5, SheBar owners Dawn Denbo and her partner Cindi announce that they have made a deal with Ivan to buyout his ownership interest in The Planet -- something Dawn said Ivan was "all too happy" to do.

About the relationship: Papi takes Kit out of the Planet after Kit has a meltdown on stage in light of Angus' affair, takes her to a club, gets her drunk, they dance and then Papi brings Kit back to her (Papi's) apartment, where Kit passes out before anything intimate happens. Kit is intrigued nevertheless. The next time, when they DO make love, Kit cannot come to an orgasm, and tells Papi she just cannot get into it.

Kit is so cool!!!! I love her insight on all the girls and she's always first in line to support the rest of the group. I especially love her ability to act on her emotions, just like her little sister, Bette. I just love that scene with her and Angus when they were singing together and she blew up at him for cheating on her! I do wish they finished the song, cuz it was great, but understood why not!!! She needs to find a love thats not married and older in age than her!

Ha, I give props to user whatevah because she predicted Kit was going to shoot DDAHLC. Even though those "she bitches" are hot, whatever with them! It's OUR PLANET, just like Tina tells Jenny that LEZ GIRLS is our movie.

Kit knows people. Where the hell is Helena? Helena should buy out the She Bitches and be partners with Kit.

Does anyone think the random scenes of Kit looking at guns or shooting at target practice are setting the stage for her to shoot someone? Like maybe Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindy? (DDAHLC)
Kit doesn't have much of a storyline yet this year, but she's still billed as one of the main cast members, so maybe they are saving her big dramatic story arch for later when she shoots someone dead.

Loved the Stax poster hanging on the wall in her office when she was robbed. I wonder if it belonged to Pam. A great record company with some great history. Nothing better than Booker T & the MG's!!!
