Well,I don't actually understand what's your problem with her!She's a lovely character,according to my opinion!And what I find even more disturbing is the fact that Mia Kirshner's profile is...empty! I know Jenny is difficult and different,but I also believe she's one of the most interesting people in the show!But that's what I believe,isn't it?Anyway,I think it's not fair for "the talented Mrs Kirshner"!Show some respect!!

Who killed Jenny Schecter? The possible suspects that L Word listed were the following: Bette,Tina, Helena,
Niki, and Shane, but the truth of the matter is that it could have been anyone. Jenny,though troubled and misunderstood did manage to rub a lot of people the wrong way. I personally think that it could have Adelle, Nikki, Max, or perhaps even Jenny herself? What do you think?

Mia is at a table signing her book. There is a crowd of people surrounding her. Mia and Maureen look at each other from across a room. Music: "Some Enchanted Evening" Mia smiles at Maureen. Mia's teeth and eyes sparkle. Mia blows her a kiss. Maureen catches it on her cheek. Yvonne: (Rolls her eyes) There's a huge crowd, Maureen! You are never going to get to her! I'm going to sit down! (Yvonne wanders away balancing on her cane as she says this, finding a leather easy chair) Maureen walks up to the table, waiting her turn to talk to her. Mia looks up. Maureen sings to Mia, stretching out her arms "Some enchanted evening..." Mia reacts with a smile. She starts to laugh at the corny but sweet gesture. Mia: Thank you. That's sweet. What is your name? Maureen: Miss Kirshner, I am Maureen, and I am absolutely in love with The L Word! I have all the episodes and all the seasons except one and six! (points with her thumb over her right shoulder) That's Yvonne. (To Yvonne) Evo! Wave to Mia! (Yvonne and Mia wave to each other, shaking their heads and rolling their eyes, giggling) (Maureen turns back to Mia) And YOU are my absolutely favorite character in The L Word! (Maureen takes Mia's hands) I will never wash these hands again! (Laughs) (Lets go of Mia's hands) Mia: Well, it's nice to know I am being met with so much enthusiasm. Maureen. Thanks. Mia: So, what can I do for you? Maureen: Two things. May I have this? (points to some plain paper and a pen) Mia: Yes. Maureen (grabs the pen and paper): Please sign this... Mia: Okay. Your friend's name is Yvonne? Maureen: Yeah. (Mia writes a little note, ) Next thing: Will you marry me? STAY TUNED NEXT EPISODE!

I get chills when I witness Jenny's smarminess week after week, thanks to Mia.
She is an incredible actress (certainly worthy of an Emmy nod), and I hope to see her in many more roles as her career progresses.

Maureen and her best friend Yvonne walk past Border's Bookstore at Clark and Diversey. Maureen: (Reacts in total surprise) Yvonne! Look! Yvonne; What? Maureen: (Talks excitedly and loudly, pointing at a poster with Mia Kirschner) MIA KIRSCHNER IS HERE! SHE'S PROMOTING HER BOOK "I LIVE HERE"! This is a book where she went to these third world countries! Yvonne: You're YELLING and you're rambling! Maureen: I'm sorry. Let's go in! (Maureen pushes open the doors and enters Borders. Yvonne walks behind Maureen, entering Borders grudgingly.) Border's Book Store. Interior. Yvonne: I don't even know who this is.. Maureen: It's MIA KIRSCHNER FROM THE L WORD! She's signing a book she wrote! (impatiently) You'll meet her! (A salesperson walks past Maureen and Yvonne) Excuse me, miss? Can you tell me where Mia Kirschner is signing her book, "I Live Here?" Store Clerk: She's downstairs in the music section. (She points to the stairwell in the middle of the store) Maureen: Do you have an elevator? My friend has a cane. Store Clerk: It's over there. (Points to the back of the store to the left) Maureen: Thank you. (To Yvonne) Let's go! Come on! (Maureen and Yvonne enter the elevator to take them to the basement level) Yvonne: My God, Maureen! Calm down, for God's sake! You're making me nervous! You don't have a bad leg or heart like I do... Maureen: I showed you an episode! Well, you'll meet her. You'll know her now! (Elevator door opens. Music from "Romeo and Juliet". Maureen sees Mia Kirschner! They fall in love.) END. |

You may not be aware of this, but Mia Kirshner travelled the globe for a really cool project called "I Live Here" which was supported by Amnesty International. She gathered tales from women displaced by conflict who had no voice of their own. In the excerpt at the link below, Mia shares one of the many tales from her journey, and talks about how the story told by a prostitute in Thailand came a little too close to her home:

Mia Kirshner is probably the best actress on the show. She has to deliver a love to hate character that still has alot of vulerability. Her over the top attitude is her armor it protects her from the world around her. Jenny is alot deeper than she shows, except with Shane and now Niki. Jenny has been through the worst relationships with Tim and Marina and she fought back the only way she could. I think Mia gives an outstanding portrayal of someone who is so misunderstood and knows it. Jenny is complex and outrageous, stunning, sexy, and that's what makes her so much fun to watch. If you hate Jenny then Mia did her job. If you look a little closer you will see the softer almost child like side of Jenny. I lovede this season and Mia is the reason why. Great job to the writers for allowing Mia the opportunity to show her stuff.

I was happily surprised to know that Mia Kirshner had starred in a movie that seen several years ago
called "Now and Forever". I saw it again recently on Lifetime.She was excellent in it. You guys need to see her in it. She's breathtaking.
