Tasha becomes a cop. She experience some prjudice from her male partner cop that is training her because she is gay. But Tasha proves herself to her partner & is accepted. Tasha gets shot while trying to intervene in an armed robbery. She is in a coma. Things are very critical. She fights her way back to health. Alice gives her an ultimatum leave the polive for or leave her because Alice is too fearful of losing her like she did Laura. Tasha must choose. But before she chooses she discovers Clea & Alice have had an affair.

Being a black military lesbian myself, LOUD and PROUD! I like Tasha's character on the show, for season 6 I think her and Alice should make their relationship solid but of course go through some cheating and other lesbian things, maybe have Tasha do like Dana and strap it up once for Alice in the bedroom, I think Alice should still consult Dana's ghost about Tasha. Tasha's ptsd should be highlighted in this season and she should be portrayed as having a stable job being as though she came out of the military with a college degree (Captain oh Captain) some cute military role play in the bedroom would be nice too. Tasha should hook up with Bette, that would be the greatest cheat, or how about Tina and Bette, nice.

I really loved the writing for Tasha. What a tough subject with the "don't ask don't tell" matter. Tasha is a strong african amercian babe. Her values are in sync with the LAPD. She will become a part of core leadership and gain with in the ranks of the police force very quickly. Tasha knows who she is. I do not think the committment to live together between Tasha and Rose will survive with Alice's career, wandering eye, and still seeing Dana during her low periods
