i would personally like to take this time out to thank showtime for supporting the LGBT community with shows like our beloved L word and also queer as folk i'm pretty sure i speak for the majority when i say thanks and keep up the positivity so any one else in the wiki who wants to show love to showtime no matter what you orientation is join me in this thread and toast THANKS AGAIN SHOWTIME!!!!!

Bette crying all the time is making me sick. I know there is more to her than just feeling sorry for herself. She even said that she didnt like the person she has become! She needs to get a grip and get back with Tina where she belongs!! Bette and Shane have been burying their only hopes of happyness.

I just read an interview on the After ELLEN website. Laurel Holloman said something that I find somewhat disturbing. She was talking about how much fun the cast had in Season 1 and how much fun they had in Season 5--basically indicating that the fun factor was parrallel. Then, came the statement that disturbs me. Season and Season Five are like the book ends--with all the other seasons in between serving as the arc.
Why the reference to bookends. I hope the answer isn't already known. The big question -- what about bette and tina -- resolved in Season 5. Lights to black. I'm worried.

Think back when the season started. Shane, again was in a relationship and just when it was getting serious she screwed over Paige. Not that we all wanted them together or anything, but she did exactly what she always does. So the season ends almost the same way. She's getting serious about Molly, Phyllis warns her that she does not want her daughter to get hurt. So what does Shane do? She dumps Molly (kinda) and gets it on with someone else. Shane could have fought for Molly, told her to do the internship, she would wait for her, yada yada yada, but Shane is not that kind of person. I think that Shane can not commit. And I think the reason she can not commit is because she has no self confidence in herself. And I wouldn't want her any other way. . . She's always gotta do the nasty or it wouldn't be Shane.

So, I've had a few days off from work and decided to watch season 5 from the beginning and was wondering if anyone else has done this. I found that I missed sooo much of what lead to a fantastic end to the season.
If you have a chance to watch it from the beginning again I highly recommend it. Some of the things that are said in the very beginning by all the cast members tell us where this was headed. Most interesting rewatch. i know its not the greatest of posts but I really just wondered if any has rewatched and had thoughts. Some funny funny shit happened that I totally missed the first time around. Try it. Tell me what you think.

So another episode down one more to go. Bette is crying again, everytime it never fails it seems like she wants to be the one in the most pain. She could have chosen her words better. why couldnt she just tell Jodi that she didnt want to be in a relationship with her? And get over the fact that no everyone wants or can to be friends with their ex. Bette get over yourself, you can't always get what you want! You broke Jodi's heart! ....I dont think that Jodi is willing to give up so quickly without a fight. Regardless Bette and Tina belong together. But the big question, is it possible to love more than one person at the same time?
Hell no! when you are in a relationship you shouldnt be thinking about someone else in that way. Unless you are not the commitment type, then yes.

i was thinking back to something i put in a thread a while ago when tasha and alice first broke up and i said then because their values are so different i didn't see much happening and i still don't i love their relationship but it just seems like the harder they work to keep it together natural causes is tearing it apart i think they've given it a good run!!! :*( :)
