Mia Kirshner as Jenny
Jan 12 2008, 9:07 PM EST Well,I don't actually understand what's your problem with her!She's a lovely character,according to my opinion!And what I find even more disturbing is the fact that Mia Kirshner's profile is...empty! I know Jenny is difficult and different,but I also believe she's one of the most interesting people in the show!But that's what I believe,isn't it?Anyway,I think it's not fair for "the talented Mrs Kirshner"!Show some respect!! 19 out of 24 found this valuable. Jan 13 2008, 4:14 PM EST In the beginning, Jenny was good! I loved Marina but not so much with Jenny. But as the seasons have gone on, she is turning into a bitch! When Tina groveled at her in 501 I thought I was going to be sick! It made Tina look sad! Tina needs to stand up for herself a little more. For someone who has been so "hurt", Jenny has a poor way of showing it! 3 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 13 2008, 10:44 PM EST Sorry, but Tina wasn't 'groveling' at Jenny. She was carrying on as though nothing had happened and she hadn't, in fact, fired Jenny from her own damn movie project. Jenny, though, wasn't having it. Because she'd fallen for Tina's crap more than once (ie. when Tina convinced her to give the project to Shaolin AND when she trusted Tina to make sure things were done fairly) and she wasn't about to fall for it again. Frankly, if I were Jenny, I would have been just as bitchy - seriously, think about that for a second. Someone takes you for a ride not once but twice and then has the nerve to try to do it a third time? The fact that she'd think Jenny would be dumb enough to fall for it a third time is bad enough. Jenny is the one who was mistreated here, not Tina. Tina still had her job. 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

She should have had them tell Jenny about their plans! I think Tina didn't feel the need to have Jenny "assist" in the directing of a lesbian film being as she was a "new" lesbian?!?! I don't know...lol All I know is her character now makes me sick and she is killing me with her "assistants"!! Ugh.. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 29 2008, 3:30 AM EST I don't think anyone else in the world could capture this role and stir up so much controversy as Mss. Mia Kirshner does in her role as Jenny. Mia is a very talented and versitile actor. She brings curiosity, depth, and more importantly pure fustration and anger to the show, which makes you always wonder what she is up to next. They (writers) definately know what they're doing. They're giving us reasons to watch/discuss the show, week after week, as the ratings skyrocket through the roof. Mia is a large part of the sky rocket effect of the L Word. She brings a sort of edge (for lack of a better word) to the show. I definately love to hate her. There is something about her where you don't want to completly ax her off yet. You can see in her eyes there is something more loving and meaningful than the bitchy suit she wears on a daily basis+, I guess it doesn't hurt that she's beautiful either...... 6 out of 7 found this valuable. The comments...I hate her, she should off herself, do the writers know what they're doing? Too fucking much! Keep it up. Personally, I think Mia is the ultimate actor on the show followed closely by Jennifer Beals. I loved chatting with Pam Grier when during the first season when live chats followed each ejpisode. Of course "jenny" is rediculous, confused, insecure, pretentious and above all narciissistic. What would they (we) do without her. It'll be so interesting to see how the writers keep morphing her. Maybe she'll have another hetero relationship, or better yet, 3some or moresome with a couple bi guys. No, not male lesbians. LOL Male lesbians are just insecure wannabe's who can't get laid.
