Discussion: Mia Kirshner as Jenny

"Sorry, but Tina wasn't 'groveling' at Jenny. She was carrying on as though nothing had happened and she hadn't, in fact, fired Jenny from her own damn movie project. Jenny, though, wasn't having it. Because she'd fallen for Tina's crap more than once (ie. when Tina convinced her to give the project to Shaolin AND when she trusted Tina to make sure things were done fairly) and she wasn't about to fall for it again. Frankly, if I were Jenny, I would have been just as bitchy - seriously, think about that for a second. Someone takes you for a ride not once but twice and then has the nerve to try to do it a third time? The fact that she'd think Jenny would be dumb enough to fall for it a third time is bad enough. Jenny is the one who was mistreated here, not Tina. Tina still had her job."

I love her charecters different sides and depth. I was having a discussion on another thread ref: her charecters "hack job" since season 2. And although i feel the writers could have gone leaps and bounds further with her, i am so happy with how they have let her humor run this season!

So many great one liners and memorable scenes (even if some are a little pre-madonna and ott) Love the "Monet" argument with Alice, and the argument with Nikki's agent in the trailer "Change your fucking tie"!!

But also with this, i think Mia deserves so much praise as i dont think anyone else would have been able to carry off such a multifacited role. Her parts in films such as the Black Dalhia (although, twas a flop) are so memorable and she has a great ability to hold centre stage on screen....and heck she seems to fucking enjoy it....so here here, everyone give Jenny a break and Mia some praise!

"Of course M.Kirshner is a wonderful...or should i say...mind-blowing actress!Without her Jenny would have been a completely different character and maybe not as contoversial as she is right now.I think that nothing would be the same without her in the show.I would probably watch it too,but I can't see myself loving this person so much if played by some other actress.She is the main reason why Jenny has such a depth.And what else I wanted to point out is that I think,that on Jenny's character there have been made some-if not all-of the most remarkable scenes regarding direction.The whole "carnival' theme that was used in order to visualize her book was just spectacular."
