I will be glad when Jodi and Bette move on from each other, their relationship dealings with one another are painful and straining to watch. The are you gonna come by my place after work and be with me thing after Jodi encouraged her student to hadve the gun in front of the class was stupid. She is insensitive to Bette and what she has to go thru as an admistrator. I mean they each have their little world revolves around me thing going on just a tad. But, "maybe if your Lucky", Thats good for a relationship.This is a good reason you don't mess around at work, nor do you mess around with your underlings. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

It felt like I was there feeling those emotions also. The LOVE they have is so damn real. I loved this episode the most from this season. I agree with you, I thought it was a ridiculous exchange between the two of them in Bette's office. I never really liked the relationship between them in the first place...it seems awkward and unbelievable. I'm glad I'm not alone in that thinking, I thought I was going crazy! :-P

Bette being realistic and needing to stay at work late and saying I need to work late maybe tomorrow... Jodi says if you are lucky. Bette needs to get back with Tina.. Tina wouldn't say that. "I'm down about this. maybe i just get bored to see Tina and Bette all the time, and when they broke up and the gorgeous Marlee Maitlin came into the picture....i was doing cartwheels. That one moment when Bette is crying and kissing Jodi's hands...i was like whoa that is intense....and seeing these two real life friends working together like this has been great! I love their chemistry....i see those looks they give each other, and I like how real they make it. Granted it has taken a bit of time to develop this, but i think it's great. I am gonna miss Bette and Jodi...i hope they dont ruin it by letting Tina back into the picture."I am glad someone is feeling my pain. in the kiss that tina and bette shared in the last episode, you can tell the chemistry in that kiss. i really dont feel any chemistry in jodi and bettes kisses, its almost lacking passion to me. i really hope tina and bette get back together, sometimes people need a break to realize what they really have lost when they get back together. LETS GO TIBETTE!!!!

NEWSFLASH! Jodi isn't stupid...she knows something is going on now. Had nothing to do with Bette being "realistic" as you say, and much more to do with she didn't want to go home with Jodi. That was a test....just you watch what happens next hehe. I am predicting Jodi will confront Bette about the excuses she is now making not to be with her.

I also love adventure and Jodi and Bette are very adventurous IMO....I think part of the problem here with these Tina/Bette people is that they are looking for that "forever" relationship themselves and need to see this kind of thing to keep believing in it. I hope i'm not offending anyone here reading, it is not my intent to....just a theory. I definitely see why they would want to watch a long-term relationship on TV yes and I can understand the perspective! But tbh there are so very few relationships these days that last past 7 or 8 years....I am 43 and i have seen only 2 in my life, so my opinion is that this Tina/Bette thing lasted about the average amount of time. They had a good run, and they have a child....it was time to move on and have more life experiences. I guess i'm sorta sad that they couldn't be happy for Bette that she DID find someone to compliment her, challenge her and be her equal. Tina was pretty wishy-washy most times. I'm not saying they were a bad couple, i liked them, but hey....it was time to move on in the writer's opinions :) 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I am so sad to see it coming to an end. I loved the goodnite kiss that Jodi and Bette shared in last nite's episode. It was so hot. I hated the scene where Tina and Bette kissed, but I am sure alot of Tibette fans are happy. Loved Tasha and Alice in last nite's episode, it is really touching to see how Alice is standing by Tasha during this rough time in her life. "I hope I didn't offend you. "I so agree. Bette is going to try to make it work with Jodi, despite the fact that she still loves Tina. Remember the 1st season where Bette was so controlling and Tina just went along with whatever Bette's mood was. Doesn't it seem like Jodi is doing the same thing? Think about it, when Bette told Jodi she couldn't go with her to meet her friends for the weekend because of job thing, Jodi "didn't allow" her to back out and forced her into to going by saying that she's never taken anyone with her on those weekends. I didn't buy, but Bette pulled a Tina, believed her and blew off her work committment. At some point Bette & Jodi will end, but I don't see Bette going back to Tina at least not right away."Regardless of the power dynamics, I think there's always going to be that pulling Bette away from work for her to keep her relationship alive period. Tina left Bette to her work and look where it got her, right? I like Jodi's ability to stand toe-to-toe with Bette and it seems to force Bette to grow and see herself through someone else's eyes. Maybe she'll get back with Tina and they'll get back to having a life that doesn't just revolve around her work or the child. Frankly I was hoping that the series finally understood that in order to depict Lesbian life correctly, there are many couples who have successfull relationships."True that. I've known couples that lasted 20+ years before breaking up. The only one I know that lasted more than that seems to thrive on allowing one another total freedom and complete trust. What a novel approach! Seems like for most couples this approach ends in apparent betrayal or greener pastures. Still, don't know how any couple beats the odds to live out their days together without freedom and trust. I digress... Do you find this valuable? |

I am so hoping it is the end and soon. What has happened to Bette? I don't recognize her. I am tired of arrogant, manipulative, and irritating Jodi. Jodi knows no boundaries and could care less about Bette and her position. Free speech is our Constitutional right. That's wonderful, but Jodi has no sensitivity and doesn't care about too much of anything but her space. I thought she and Michelangelo were great together. Jodi can live amongst her hippy friends nad shun society. Just get out of the pictyure. RUN, BETTE, Run!!!

I hope Im not gonna have to feel sorry for Jodi long,I hope some one comes by and just sweeps her off her feet.She seemed to have an idea of the out come before she got in this situation..Bettes already crying over spilt milk..........Its better to have lost a love than to have never of loved at all. Then again what if were all wrong, and when Tina and Bette makeout,its not what they thought it would be?

I do agree with you babe...i was upset to see Bette and Tina kiss also. Talk about cheating. Bette kisses her goodnight then kisses Tina? I ike Jodie and Bette together, Tina has to move on with her life.
