I agree with queenbeeg3, letting Dana go was awful and I think letting Shane go would be a mistake. Quite frankly letting any of the main chracters go would be. Theyre fan base is too big. There are people that watch the show just to see one or all of the main characters. I used to only watch it for Bette, then for TiBette, then for those two and Alice and then it just grew from there. Shane is awesome but she makes me mad at times.

Kate can't leave...I only started watching the show because I loved her young americans character Jake. And Shane's too much of the "glue" just like everyones saying...everytime something happens she keeps everyone togther...like when Bette cheats on Tina...when Tina ends up with Helena...she so in tone with where everyone's at in spite of how fucked up she's been making her own life that if she left the group would probably collapse...although I suppose killing her off like they did Dana would make for an interesting story line.

I think the show will miss it's fun part without Shane.Kate can't go, we need her. I need her. Her loyalty is essential in the show. Also if Shane is gone, then Jenny is finished, Shane is the common denominator between Jenny and the rest of the crew. Finaly most importantly, With Shane character the audience experience the struggle that it is to let everything go and be able to commit to a relationship at 100% (with Carmen, who has to come back) after living a life of a player or so. we need Shane. We got to have Shane. I'm nothing without her. Do you find this valuable? |
