80. Kate Moennig~ After The L Word

I also love this show, but all good things must come to an end. But I can honestly say that I will be watching anything that has Kate in it. She is truly an incredible actress. And just watching her makes one believe she is actually like the character she is portraying. Kate has said over and over in interviews that she is not like Shane in her personal life. She (Kate) has convinced everyone she is a beautiful, (but a bit Butch) lesbian, who finds all women sexy and wants to sleep with them. And that Shane is a girl who just can't love or be loved by anyone for long. While Kate the actress has said she is shy and "Nerdy" and loves boy cloths, because they fit her body better since she has no hips. I have no idea if she is straight or gay or bi. But I did read an interview she did in New York in 2000 I Think. The article was (- Androgynous Actress Kate Moennig Is ‘Alt.Gwyn,’ Paltrow's Cousin - )By Rebecca Traister of the New York Observer ~ This was from right after she did The Young Americans. The L Word was not yet thought of. So she was not involved in the Gay community then like she is now, but she was quoted as saying, (-Although she is straight and is currently seeing a Los Angeles actor "who knows what he wants," Ms. Moennig recalled a number of instances when, because of her appearance, she was "probably" hit on by women, who either mistook her for a boy or for a lesbian ~ ) I personally think she is straight and that the show doesn't want her to comment on it because it keeps the mystery alive. But its her business not mine. But weather she goes on to play a lesbian or a strait girl (or a boy for that matter..) I will keep watching, because she makes her charters so "Real". She just gets into her character and understands them.
