Discussion: Jennifer Beals Is A Great Actress

"She brings so much substance to her role in this series and I think that this series would be sorely lacking without a talent of her type. I am a man, and I would never watch this show because I thought it was alove story, but my sister who is a leabian told me otherwise and I watched it and I am hooked. I am not homophobic, but I believe that The L Word should be required watching for everyone because it shows that the dynamics of a relationship is not based on gender, but on love. Beals delivers a performance in each episode that makes the viewer feel like he/she is a part of that relationship. She is a great actress in a great series."
