Discussion: WTF WAS WITH BETTE AND JODI'S SEX SCENE!

"Here's the other thing. I don't even think that Tina realizes the change in herself which makes her all the more attractive to Bette. I don't see Tina as trying to prove something to Bette or control the situation at all. She wants Bette no doubt about it. I am totally enjoying this powerful journey the writers are taking these two characters. Bette was awesome in that scene with Jodi. I like angry, wanting & vulnerable Bette it makes her all the more sexy to me. Cheers!"

"Yes! I agree and that makes me mad though. See I have issues cause Bette was so in Love with Jodi at the end of Season 4, the sign she stole and brought to her was sooo sweet. And now all the sudden she LOVES Tina again. I mean I know that the love was always still there. "I think we are forgetting a couple of things first Bette doesn't like to lose, and she always has the last word. Bette would never just let Jodi walk away, she did what she had to to win. Also at the time she did not know Tina was an options, Tina was doing everything she could to help her get Jodi back. Why would she do that if she wanted her back. Remember she left Bette not the other way around.

But on a larger scale Tina and Bette had been together for seven years in season one, BUT, Tina had just stopped working to prepare herself to have a baby. SOOOO, the Tina we saw in season 1 was not the Tina Bette was use to. There is no way she could have been as sucessful as Bette said she was other wise. The Tina we are seeing now in season 5 has to be more like the Tina Bette fell in love with. After making love with her again, seeing Sam flirt with Tina on set had to be tearing her up inside to think of her or any other woman touching Tina. Making her feel totally out of CONTROL, the one thing we all know Bette can't live without. So when Jodi walks in she takes control back, the one way she knew how. "

I think its much deeper than that, its completely raw for both. i think bette feels "out of control" with her feelings for Tina but i don't see Tina as thinking "i'm in control here".
