The show wrote Tom as a gay man. My confusion is the lack of character development so far on Max. I knew a Toni that went FTM and is now Tony, but he didn't "turn gay" which is what seems on the surface ridiculous. Seems if Moira liked boys to begin with we wouldn't all be confused right now. If Max is confused, no one seems to be covering that story. Max could have self-identified as a straight male but don't think that's what we've been told either.

So Tom and Max weren't the only ones struggling with Max's identity in the story line. Maybe her sexuality is fluid. I hope more time can be spent on this story line development.

Then again, Alice was cast as bi and transitioned into a lesbian without any coverage. Intentional or unintentional? Inquiring minds want to know!"

"It looked like straight sex to me. I really like Max and I think it's about time they gave him some part in season 5. He is still a female going through issues of not knowing where he's supposed to be. Let's not write him off too early, he brings some interest to the show."
