Discussion: Shane betrays Jenny

"In the season finale, Jenny DOES NOT mean Niki when she's giving her speech at the wrap party. Everybody involved with the production of the Lez Girls movie already *knew* about Niki and Jenny being involved with each other, including the crew, the cast, Adele, William, Aaron and all of Jenny's friends. So when Jenny says 'I realized something really important today. That... I am *madly* in love with SOMEONE," it's not entirely clear, at first, who she's referring to, but when you consider the fact that everyone already knew about her and Niki, then the likelihood of it being Shane goes up. Because everybody already knew about Niki and Jenny - so if she says 'someone' rather than 'Niki', that means there's someone else she's in love with, since everybody already knew. There was no reason for Jenny to be coy. Everyone already knew about her and Niki.

Plus, in episode 11, Jenny tells Shane that she's NOT IN LOVE with Niki, anymore. So why would she turn around and realize that she was madly in love with 'someone' if this someone was Niki? Why would she speak about it as a revelation? Because it's NOT Niki. Jenny wouldn't go from '[Niki's] dead to me' in ep 11 to 'madly in love' again, especially when you consider the fact that Jenny has refused to speak to Niki since episode 11.
