The bad news is that it will be a short season of only 8 episodes. Also, it will be the final season of The L Word. It's time to say goodbye. LOS ANGELES, CA – (March 10, 2008) – SHOWTIME has renewed the critically-acclaimed, groundbreaking lesbian drama THE L WORD® for a sixth and final season, it was announced today by Robert Greenblatt, SHOWTIME’s President of Entertainment. One of the network’s longest running series, THE L WORD® will culminate early next year in eight final episodes, marking the end of an era chronicling the lives of these iconic characters who have played a pivotal role in changing cultural perceptions of lesbians and the transgender community on and off screen. Mar 10 2008, 11:28 PM EDT Why I will miss the L Word, I love the show.What will we as Lesbians or Transgender have? This show is one of the reason I got the show time channel, no time to say good bye, knowing that makes me sad, I don't even like it when they have to take there session breaks....since I now know that the show is about to end i'm really going to cry. I will miss all the actor's. My favorites are Shane(I'm in love with her character) as well as Bette(I love that she takes care of her mate, and she learned a little about letting her partner do her own thing now!), I love Alice, because her character likes both women & men and she very out spoken. and Tasha she time enough for Alice lol....Jenny was cool until she let fame go to her head. I'll miss Kit, Tina that's my homie, Jodi was cool, Max I don't know what to call her/him(hope he's found what he's looking for) lol..& the rest of the crew like;Helena, Phyllis, and Phyllis dauhgter I just started liking her,she might just what Shane needs sike, she needs me I wonder is Shane a lesbian 4real? Please think about what you are doing before taking The L Word off, please!!!! 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
