Discussion: ideas for show

"I always thought Shane would end up with Papi too, but I guess due to the character been written out, there was never a chance, not that they even flirted with the idea anyway.
Is it not as hard for lesbians to pass on STDs to eachother? Perhaps the reason it hasn't been written in the show."

"well....if you want to tackle subjects that are a little more realistic, how about stds. I am surprised that the character, Shane, has not yet gotten one. I think that she should have one or find out that she has one. That would be a good subject to get into. There has been the subject of breast cancer, sexual abuse, same sex parenting, women and prison, gun safety and children, friendships and loyalty, alcoholism, etc. I think that sexually transmitted disease would be important and I strongly believe that if anyone can show us what not to do, it is Shane. I am not sure about the Carmen/Shane reunion because obviously Shane has not learned anything. Shane keeps screwing up and it would not make sense for Carmen to want any contact with Shane. I was surprised that Helena was so forgiving when her money was wasted. The following season after that made no sense. What would make sense to me, even though many would disagree with me, is if the character "Papi" ended up with Shane because they both are equally immature when it comes to relationships and identify with each other. Another thing is the whole Marina and Jenny relationship should resurface. There has got to be a way to bring Karina back for some kind of closure because now Jenny has gotten back what she did to Tim in the first season, so now that she knows what it feels like to be betrayed, she could grow from that and become stronger as a person. Maybe she is ready for a relationship with Marina now. Maybe Marina has grown as well and they can find each other again. There have been so many disappointments on the show. Maybe if people started doing things right, it would be better. Maybe have some people learn from their mistakes. Like for example, Alice is not happy with Tasha so why doesn't Alice break up with Tasha before she cheats on her? Maybe Helena can not blow away her money like she usually does. What does everyone else think?"
