RE: Showtime announceds "L Word " Spinoff Aug 9 2008, 10:19 PM EDT "Why not Katie?" yeah she is try to win jenny back as a friend at first but while trying to win her back according to IC she is going to realize that jenny is her soulmate. and at that moment she is going to stop trying to put her feeling aside and just open up her heart to jenny. you have to remember jenny is madly in lovewith shane , and though what shane did is going to hurt her for awhile she is not going to stop loving her. caause we all know when you are that in love with someone no matter what they have done 9 times out of 10 you are still going to want to be with that person. that is why the shenny is going to happen. as for the spin off if helena, dylan and phyliss are in then that mean either kit or tasha is going to be in it not the shenny . And if you look in the right places online - you can order it early there too. The thing is... I'd bet it wouldn't even make the movie theaters. Only 1 out of 10 movies actually makes it to the theaters where we can see it. The other 9 go straight to DVD. I know you would want to see it right away, but at least you will be able to see it ... eventually. I probably wouldn't go to the theaters to watch it anyway. You'd get a lot of hate groups out during those things. I'd rather watch it in the safety of my home. Don't get me wrong. I'm very much out of the closet, but I'd rather not get beat up for it. " Where do you get that Jenny is in love with Shane? Don't get me wrong here. I love the idea of Shenny, but Jenny at no time has ever said that she is in love with Shane. Jenny or Mia said that Shane is her soulmate, but I never got the impression that she was in love with Shane. At this point they are really close friends and Shane was the only person she trusted, loved and believed in. When she saw her with the girl she was in love with - it tore her heart out. I had the same thing happen to me. My bestfriend and ex-g/f are now together. I can't stand to look at either one of them now. They betrayed me in every way that is sacred to me. So when Jenny said Shane her broke heart - I knew exactly where Jenny was coming from. The ONLY person in the world she trusted (like my bf) was the one who betrayed her. So while I agree with most of everything you said - I'm just not agreeing with your comment regarding Jenny being "madly in love" with Shane. I do see the storyline hopefully progressing in that way, but I think both Shane and Jenny have yet to truly understand the bond that is there between them. I know what you mean. I had a nice little tiff with some girl on youtube about this subject. Me I'm a realist. I know realistically they have not so much as mentioned feelings for each other. In fact Shane came straight out and said she doesn't sleep with her roomates. But like someone else mentioned.. who else hasn't Shane slept with?? I think it's long passed time for Shane to get hit with a brick and fall heads over heels in love and I think it's been living right alongside her the whole time...... Even with states who allow the movie... How many lesbians are going to go when the movie theater will be filled with groups of haters with signs..picketing and everything else to get the movie stopped.
