What a role for Cybill Shepherd. Love it. I have enjoyed her film career. The marriage proposal had me shivering for the loving lawyer. Glad Phyllis said yes. Those politicos should let folks live their lives and live the life they live. Love the storyline. Do you find this valuable?

I like the story line too and think the two of them together are a hoot. I love Joyce (Jane Lynch) because she is so intense and over the top in this role. It's hilarious.
I feel sorry that I don't think Phyllis really wants to get married again. I think this whole thing is gonna see trouble of some type. Can't help but think so because of Phyllis's hesitation in responding.

Joyce had her ducks in order. Phyllis is about image, pecking order.......sanctioning of marriageby the mayor and getting married by the mayor. The line will lead on the Phyllis character for sure.
